The ceremony drew volunteers, civic figures, human rights advocates and past awardees for a celebration of service to others.

The keynote address was delivered by previous awardee Frank Allen, a playwright, director and former Dublin Prisons teacher. This year’s award recipients included Walk And Talk and Stephen Brennan, the Kurdish Community of Ireland and Mokthar Moradi, the Indonesian-Irish Association and Irene Murphy, Scoil Rince Ní Áogain and Denise Egan, Nicolae Dulea, Joseph Orgin and Feljose Shristeca, Stefano Bonvini, Mohammed Rashid of Safco Fine Foods, Mass Events Ireland, Dr. Mahesh Baj, and Neera Baj.
